Zakk Wylde Forced To Cancel Shows Due To Severe Illness

Black Label Society Tour Halted

According to Corrosion of Conformity, a band currently touring with Black Label Society, guitarist/front man of BLS Zakk Wylde is suffering from a severe illness and upcoming shows in Montreal and Toronto are being rescheduled. Corrosion of Conformity took to their Facebook page to release this statement.

“Due to severe illness and Zakk Wylde’s inability to perform, Black Label Society must postpone both the Montreal and Toronto shows until summer of 2018. New dates will be announced soon, please hold onto your tickets, we will be back to perform for our fans as quickly as possible.”

As of right now, we have yet to hear exactly what illness Zakk is enduring. In 2009, Zakk survived a blood clot that ultimately led to his sobriety and it is expected that the two could be related in some way. We will hopefully hear from Zakk or a representative soon regarding this news. We wish Zakk all of the best. We’ll more updates as this develops.
