Let’s Put This To The Test!
If you’re a musician you’ll know that one of the (if not THE) most important things to have is a good ear. And no I’m not talking about good ears for hearing just anything, but having a good ear for music. This means that without actually hearing the sound, you’re able to decipher and imagine music that may or may not be audible at the particular moment. This is not a skill that you can learn overnight, it takes years of practice. It is the mark of a truly great musician.
It is also a skill that Rob Scallon used in the video you’re about to see. In this video, Rob attempts to write a metal song without any volume as he goes along. What starts out as a tedious, frustrating, and mundane process, ends up producing a surprising and awesome result. Don’t believe me? See for yourself!
