You can tell much about a rock star by how he treats his fans or, regular people for that matter. Whether it’s singing for a little girl on a plane, asking for a fan to come up on stage or joining a random busker for an impromptu duet – Steven Tyler sure proved why he’s everyone’s favorite. It’s not uncommon actually, for Tyler to walk up to random street performers and really soak in and appreciate their talent.
And that is exactly what he did on this day.
Fun Fact: Steven Tyler is a multi-instrumentalist and can play the drums, harmonica and piano.
This happened in Lithuania when he came upon two street performers. And well, not only did he ask to take a picture with the two stunning and talented ladies but he also did an killer jam much to the delight of the onlookers. One other thing I liked about this (aside from Steven Tyler himself), is how he didn’t exactly try to steal the spotlight which would’ve been easy to do given that anyone who likes music already knows who he is.
He let the violinist do her thing and yes, I was blown away with that little piece of musical treat. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the musicians. You see, what are the odds of the Aerosmith frontman watching your performance? It’s definitely something else.
Sure, it’s far from perfect but that’s another thing to love about this – the rawness of it. And Steven was clearly having so much fun! He’s probably gotten used to performing in front of thousands of screaming fans inside stadiums but there’s nothing quite like an impromptu jam where everyone’s having a grand time.
This is what a humble, loving, and talented legendary rockstar looks and acts like. What a treat!
