Well, This Is Awkward…
As weird as it sounds, I feel bad for a lot of pop-artists today. While they have great success and make a lot of money, they also have larger targets on their backs. They are constantly under the microscope and every single mistake they make is met with such ridicule and backlash. That’s exactly what happened to Nick Jonas at the 2016 ACM Award Show.
It was during this show that while performing on stage alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Nick was on lead guitar duty for the song “Peter Pan”. Unfortunately, however, when it came time for Nick to play the guitar solo, things went less than stellar.
Now, don’t be too harsh on Nick, here. We all make mistakes, and it takes great courage to go out on national television and perform, and to be fair, Nick later acknowledged his mistake with this tweet that he posted shortly after the performance.
Just landed in London to all these videos from Sunday nights performance..So funny. Yes. I screwed up the solo thanks to a huge brain fart.
