Godsmack Do It Best!
Usually, in the world of hard rock and heavy metal, covers are pretty much hit or miss. Whenever a rock/metal fan hears a cover of a rock/metal song they’ll either say “that was really good!” or they’ll say “OH MY GOD THAT WAS TERRIBLE!! HOW DARE YOU TRY AND COVER THAT SONG!! WHAT A F****** DISGRACE!! KILL YOURSELF!!” etc etc etc.
My point is, if you’re going to do a cover of a rock or metal song, you’d better get it right, or fans will come at you like daggers. Some covers are good, some not so much, but very few covers are great. This is one of those rare moments.
What you’re about to watch is a video in which Godsmack are in the studio and they decide to perform a cover of the iconic song “Come Together”. To put it simply, these boys 100% nail it!
I think it goes without saying that this cover is a cover that would make The Beatles absolutely proud! This heavy twist is a welcomed one and just goes to show that songs by The Beatles are truly timeless! Don’t believe me? See for yourself!
